For my sister's wedding, which took place two years ago, I made for her these cookie souvenirs that not only kept guests busy munching even before dinner was served (a great conversational piece, too!), but more importantly, it gave me something to give to her ala labor of love.I made 350 sets, containing 3 pcs each. It took a lot of time to finish, with only a few days to spare since I want them as fresh as possible. Sounds cliche, but I really had fun. And knowing she loved and appreciated them was enough pay back.
